BY ACCESSING OR USING THIS WEBSITE (THE “SITE”), YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF USE AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY (COLLECTIVELY, THE “TERMS”). IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THE SITE.

1. Use of the Site The Site is owned and operated by COMPANION SUPPORT SERVICES LLC (“My Pet Letters,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). My Pet Letters provides access to licensed mental health professionals for the purpose of assessing whether an individual may qualify for an Emotional Support Animal (“ESA”) letter. You must be at least 18 years old to use this Site. Your use of the Site constitutes your agreement to these Terms and any additional terms and policies referenced.

2. No Medical Advice or Provider Relationship The content on the Site is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical or psychological advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Use of the Site does not create a doctor-patient or therapist-client relationship between you and My Pet Letters or any Provider. All ESA letters are issued at the discretion of a licensed mental health provider following a clinical evaluation.

3. Limited Scope of Services My Pet Letters facilitates the provision of ESA evaluations through independent licensed professionals. These professionals exercise full and independent clinical judgment. We do not influence or guarantee any outcome or decision made by these Providers.

4. User Accounts: You must create an account to access certain Site features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.

5.Communication & Mobile: Terms By providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications from us via email, SMS, or phone. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt-out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.

6.Refund & Cancellation: Policy Refunds are subject to the following:
If your Provider determines you do not qualify for an ESA, you will receive a full refund.
If your landlord denies the letter and you file a valid HUD complaint, a refund will be issued.
No refunds for expedited or additional documentation services unless denied by the applicable authority with a formal complaint filed.

7.California Residents: In compliance with CA law AB 468, a minimum 30-day clinical relationship and two consultations are required before issuing an ESA letter for dogs.

8.Disclaimer: The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding your legal rights, accommodations, or any outcomes related to the ESA letter. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from use of the Site.

9.Intellectual Property: All content on the Site is owned by My Pet Letters or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any content without permission.

10.Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless My Pet Letters and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your use of the Site or Services.

11.Arbitration Agreement: Disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration. By using this Site, you waive the right to a jury trial or to participate in class actions. Arbitration will occur in Boston, Massachusetts under AAA rules. You may opt-out by written notice within 30 days of accepting these Terms.

12.Modifications: We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13.Termination: We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time for any reason. You may also close your account at any time by contacting us.

14.Privacy Policy: We respect your privacy. We collect only the information necessary to provide services, such as contact details, mental health questionnaires, and payment information. 15.HIPAA Notice: My Pet Letters and its licensed Providers are committed to protecting your protected health information (PHI) in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Your PHI will only be used and disclosed for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations, or as otherwise permitted or required by law.
